Make a Paper Clock That Turns
- Print the black and white clock face at about 3 inches wide on card stock.
- Have kids write 12, 3, 6 and 9 first, then fill in the other numbers.
- Cut two hands from colored paper, one short and one long.
- Push a brass paper fastener through both hands and the center dot.
- Call out a time and let kids turn the hands to show it.
A 1000 pixel PNG at 300 dpi gives a sharp 3 inch clock, the right size for small hands. For a large teacher clock, print the same file at 6 inches and trace over the lines with a thick marker so they stay dark.
Questions people ask
Why do the clocks have no numbers?
The faces use tick marks so you can use them for any lesson. Kids can write the numbers, or you can type the time beside the clock. It also keeps the pictures neat when they are printed small.
Where can I find clock clipart black and white?
You want the outline gallery: a blank clock face and a month page in plain lines, plus a solid alarm clock silhouette. All three print well on grayscale and are made for coloring or cutting.
Do you have calendar clipart PNG for a class newsletter?
Yes. The spiral calendar with the red circle and the black and white month page both download as transparent PNG files. Paste one beside your list of upcoming dates and type the day in the circle.
Is there an alarm clock clipart that is cute for kids?
The smiling red alarm clock with ringing bells is the friendliest one here. It works on wake-up charts, bedtime routines and kindergarten slides.
Can teachers use these clocks and calendars without paying?
Yes. Lessons, homework sheets, school calendars, home planners and other projects that earn nothing are all fine, and credit is optional. Reselling the clocks and calendars as files, alone or bundled, is not allowed. Any planner or product you plan to sell with these on it needs a quick yes from us first, sent via the Contact page.
What is a good watch clipart for a slide about time?
The realistic wristwatch has fine shading and reads clearly on a projector. For a story or invitation, the watercolor pocket watch gives a softer, old-fashioned feel.
