Our coloring pages start here: 16 free printable sheets on this page, plus links to every theme on the site, from holidays and animals to mandalas and big, easy shapes for toddlers. Every sheet is crisp black line art on white, sized for US Letter or A4 paper.
Each page has a Print button and a Download button. Print sends it straight to your printer. Fun Coloring Pages for Kids
Friendly animals and silly scenes that kids ask for again and again. These are mostly Easy and Medium, great for home, daycare and early grades.
A floppy eared puppy and a kitten ride in a little wagon full of toys. Two friends to color means two kids can share one page.
Try this Print two copies and let siblings each color one animal, then swap to finish the other.
A lion, a giraffe and a monkey share sandwiches on a picnic blanket under a palm tree. Lots of shapes but none too small.
Try this Ask kids to add a fourth animal guest to the picnic and draw what food it brought.
A smiling octopus pours tea for two little fish on the sea floor, with coral and shells around them. Every arm is a fresh space to color.
Try this Use it to start an ocean unit and have second graders label the octopus arms from one to eight.
A bunny in overalls waters a row of carrots and flowers with a watering can. A calm, sunny page for spring days.
Try this Plant real seeds the same day and hang this colored page by the cups as the garden sign.
Cool Coloring Pages for Older Kids
Cool coloring pages for ages 8 and up, with robots, dragons and big adventures. More parts to fill, but still fun, not fussy.
Tall towers, bridges and robots walking the streets, with flying cars zipping between the buildings. Older kids can spend a long time on this one.
Try this Have fourth graders color it, then write a short news report about one day in the robot city.
A big friendly dragon wraps its tail around a small castle on a hill and smiles at the clouds. Its scales give older kids a pattern challenge.
Try this Let kids invent a color pattern for the scales, like three greens then one gold, and repeat it.
A kid in a helmet rides a skateboard over a ramp, with rails, a half pipe and a few trees. Kids can design their own board deck.
Try this Leave the skateboard deck blank and challenge kids to design a fresh pattern for it.
An astronaut drives a six wheeled rover over rocky ground while a ringed planet and stars fill the sky. Great for space fans.
Try this Pair it with a space lesson and ask students to name the planet and list three things the rover finds.
Cartoon Coloring Pages with Original Characters
All our cartoon coloring pages use friendly characters we drew ourselves: happy foods, silly monsters and smiling vehicles.
A smiling taco, donut and pizza slice hold hands like best friends. Kids giggle at the faces and love picking the toppings colors.
Try this Ask kids which food friend they would invite to lunch and why, as a speaking warm up.
Three cute monsters: one with one big eye, one with spots and one with fuzzy fur. Not scary at all, just goofy.
Try this Have kids write a name and one favorite snack for each monster in the white space.
A smiling engine pulls three cars full of animal friends over green hills. Each car is a big box that is easy to fill.
Try this Count the animals in each train car together, then add the numbers for a first math story.
A smiling pencil, a happy eraser, a book and a pair of scissors with tiny faces. A cute back to school page for any grade.
Try this Hand it out on the first day of school and ask kids to color the supplies they brought.
Best Printable Coloring Pages for Teens and Adults
These detailed pages have fine lines and many small parts. Use colored pencils or fine tip markers and give yourself a quiet hour.
A round mandala of layered petals, dots and tiny leaves. Work from the center out for a calm, steady rhythm.
Try this Pick three colors that sit close on a color wheel and use only those for a calm result.
An owl sits on a branch with every feather filled with swirls, scallops and dots. Great for practicing shading with colored pencils.
Try this Try blending two pencil colors in each feather row, from light at the top to dark at the bottom.
A stone path winds to a small cottage between beds of roses, daisies and tall foxgloves. It feels like a slow walk outside.
Try this Spread the coloring over a few evenings, then mat and hang it for a friend who loves gardening.
A narrow street with a corner cafe, striped awnings, window boxes and bikes leaning on a lamp post. Lots of little windows to fill.
Try this Teens can color it in a single color family, like blues only, for a modern poster look.

How to Print Coloring Pages
- Press Print under the page you want, or Download to save the image first.
- In the print window, choose "fit to page" so the edges are not cut off.
- Pick US Letter or A4 to match your paper. The sheet fills either one.
- For a class, set the number of copies before you print.
Want a PDF to email? Open the print window and choose save as PDF instead of a printer. To make your own coloring book pages, print a stack, punch holes on the left and tie them with yarn, or staple a cardstock cover on top.
Paper, Crayons and Markers
- Copy paper: Fine for crayons and colored pencils, and cheap for big batches.
- Cardstock: Best for markers, dot markers and paint, and for pages that will become cards or wall art.
- Colored pencils: The best match for Detailed pages, because the tips reach small spaces.
- Washable markers: Bright and quick for Medium pages. Slip scrap paper under the page to protect the table.
- Watercolor: Works on thick paper only. Let it dry flat before you hang it up.
Classroom and Home Ideas
- Early finisher folder: Keep a mix of levels in a folder for kids who finish work early.
- Calm corner: A detailed mandala and a few colored pencils help older kids reset after recess.
- Writing starter: Have students color a scene, then write three sentences about what happens next.
- Travel bag: Pack a few Easy pages and a small box of crayons for car rides and waiting rooms.
- Gift wrap: Color a large page and use it to wrap a small present for a grandparent.
